The Scholarship
The Maisin Scholar Award acknowledges students whose strengths may not be in their academic performance, but rather in their unwavering commitment to their future goals. The award is designed to support the needs of economically disadvantaged students in the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) who are dedicated to continuing their education in traditional or non-traditional ways. Maisin Scholars are awarded up to four years of scholarship support, at $1,500 per school year. The award is applied to student’s tuition.
